Eco-friendly Bio-based materials
Bio-based materials refer to biomass materials that are degraded or enzymatically hydrolyzed by biological,
physical or chemical reactions under the action of bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms existing
in nature.
Based partly or entirely on monomers extracted from biological sources. Such resins are green because
they reduce the use petrochemicals with plant-based alternatives.
Bio-based sources:
Pineapple, cactus, bamboo, banana, grape skin, coffee, seweed and trees and other fruits and vegetables
are used as bio-based raw materials.
Biosynthetic fibers can be made wholly or partially from bio-based resources. These fibers can be applied
to weave into bio-based PU leather.
Degradabillty:
In the leather field, bio-based materials are mainly use to generate fibers, which have the characteristics
of renewable raw materials, less harmful substances generated in the processing process, and 100%
bio-based degradabillity.
